The short version
Dusk does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. Your journal entries exist only on your device. There are no accounts, no cloud storage, and no way for us to read what you write.
No accounts
Dusk does not require you to create an account. There is no sign-up, no email, and no password. You open the app and start writing.
Your entries stay on your device
Everything you write in Dusk is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. Your entries are never uploaded to a server, synced to the cloud, or transmitted over the internet.
If you delete the app, your entries are deleted with it. If you export your entries, the resulting file is created on your device and shared only if you choose to share it.
No tracking or analytics
Dusk does not use third-party analytics services, advertising SDKs, or tracking pixels. We do not track what you write, how often you use the app, or any other behavioral data.
No third-party access
Because your data never leaves your device, no third party has access to it. There is nothing to share, sell, or breach.
What we do collect
Nothing. Dusk has no servers that receive your data, no databases that store your information, and no way to identify you.
Data export
You can export all of your entries at any time as a Markdown file from the Settings screen. This file is generated entirely on your device. We never see it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page. Because Dusk collects no data, there is very little that could change.
